I've had a sh*tty day. I went to work, digging over a garden, removing weed and stones. My back is not good, but all things relevant, not bad. However, having had "the snip" a couple of weeks ago, I have developed a blood infection, which has manifested itself as a whopping great boil on the top of my thigh (outer). Everything hurts I am, at the moment, trying to take advice I was once given if you think you are in pain: "try to be a woman". Well, I'm trying, but I bet this rivals childbirth (running for cover).

This is strictly for the guys out there. 2 weeks ago I had a vasectomy. No problem as far as the op went. But.....and I know you can guess where this is going (if you don't, you are a girlie and shouldn't be reading:-)) Well, now I have stubble. Have you ever had scrotum stubble? I am really enjoying using a site called Last FM. It "scrobbles" the music you are listening to and matches you up to people listening to similar stuff and suggests stuff you might like. I have liked suggestions such as Faithless and Morcheeba that I'd not heard of. I also have heard some tracks that I have not heard for a few years. Very clever site.

My boy (Joe) and me have had a top day together. We went to a pheasant shoot that I work at. Joe gets little jobs to do, usually resulting in him getting bored or cold or both at some time or the same time. He always wants to go back for more. Life for a 7 year old must be grand. He even got paid £5. The laddie doesn't know he's born. Maybe I should start taking board and lodging from him. What do you think?

I've had another fun day. This morning a friend and I moved some furniture for a lady and this afternoon I cut a hedge and swept up leaves.
